For Teen Learner’s Permit (16 & 17 years old)

What to take to the DPS or DMV to receive your Learner’s Permit.

  • DE-964                         – Certificate received after completing 6 hours of the 32 hour teen course for (For Learner’s License Only).
  • VOE                              – Ask from School.
  • Proof of address      – 2 types of proof like phone, electricity, gas bill ect..

For Adult Learner’s Permit (18+ years old)

What to take to the DPS or DMV to receive your Learner’s Permit.

  • ADE-1317                    – Certificate received after completing 6 hours permit class.
  • Impact Certificate   – (ITYD) dated within 90 days of the Road Test.
  • Proof of address      – 2 types of proof like phone, electricity, gas bill ect..

Teen Road Test (16 & 17)

What to bring to the driving school to take the road test.

  • Learner’s Permit      – Valid & held for 6 months.
  • DE-964                         – Certificate received after completing the 32 hour teen course for (For Drivers License Only).
  • Impact Certificate   – (ITTD) dated within 90 days of the Road Test.
  • Parents or legal guardians with a license need to accompany their teens.

 

What to take to the DPS or DMV after the road test for teens?

  • VOE                              – Ask from School.
  • 30 hours log              – Have logged 30 hours of driving practice outside of the driving education program.
  • Sealed Envelope      – Received after the road test.
  • Learner’s Permit

Adult Road Test (18 – 24 years old)

What to bring to the driving school to take the road test.

  • Learner’s Permit        – Valid
  • ADE-1317                      – Certificate received after completing 6 hours permit class.
